Ken Jeakins

Hi, I'm Ken.

I am a retired United States Air Force member, a dad of 4, and a granddad to 7.

I have lived in Box Elder for over 20 years and through my work as a blood drive supervisor and former Co-Chair of the Pennington County Relay For Life, I have gotten to know so many people just like you. People who are trying to do right by their neighbors and live a life they can be proud of.

To many, I may sound like man who owns exactly one good flannel. It’s just a steady voice saying simple things like they’re obvious. Fix what’s broken. Help people. Try not to make a mess. A voice that says “I can fix your fence,” paired with ideas that say “also, let’s fix the system while we’re at it.” That is why I am out here talking about healthcare, housing, and human dignity.

I believe government should prioritize people, all people, and protect their freedom to live, believe, and define themselves without interference. True freedom is something universal, not selective; when only some enjoy it, it becomes privilege rather than liberty.
